Adult Blogging Tutorial
The easiest way to get into the adult webmaster biz, is by blogging. And the easiest way to do that is with Thumblogger. Thumblogger is an incredible tool, with loads of features designed expressly for the adult blogger. Additionally, they've built a whole suite of additional services and utilities to work seamlessly with their blogging platform.
1. Go to thumblogger and register for a free account.
2. Pick a name and subdomain for your new adult blog. You want it to be descriptive. It's OK to use hyphens such as this-is-my-blog.thumblogger.com. I suggest targeting one niche or even a sub-niche per blog, such as 'Big Boobed Pornstars'.
3. Pick a template that appeals to you. You can customize the page layout by moving around the built in widgets, or adding your own widgets in custom boxes (or the template).
I like to set up my template before proceeding with any content, so I advise:
4. Open up your template and add meta-tags inside the head tags for better SEO (Search Engine Optimization). For a better idea of what I mean, in your browser click 'View' and scroll down to 'View Page Source'. You mostly need to concern yourself with the description and keywords.
5. Now, you're ready to start making posts. Here's a small list of sponsors to help get you started. I recommend picking 3 to be your primary source of inspiration for a given blog.
a. Traffic Cash Gold
b. Top Bucks
c. BangBros Online
d. Brain Cash
e. Vixeo
6. Resist the temptation to use the auto-generated gallery descriptions, as they are over-used by too many lazy webmasters. You also want to resist the temptation to dump all the galleries at the same time. It's a blog, not a TGP. The best blogs, the ones that make the most money, are hand written and focus on one gallery per post, one post every 1-3 days. CONTENT IS KING! I suggest writing a couple of paragraphs, linking the image to the gallery. You may also like to link the index page of the site the gallery is from, and maybe a direct link to the join page as well.
7. After you have a weeks worth of posts (I suggest no less than 6) you may wish to send your blogs to some directories for more niched traffic:
a. Blog Submitter is a great way to send your blog to about a 15 directories at one time, or use ABC linking where you link to 8 directories and are linked to by 8 different directories - which I recommend. On the confirmation page is a link to the Alternate Blog Submitter for an additional dozen or so directories.
b. Feedlists such as Adult Blog Directory can be a great way to get multiple links pointing to your most recent posts.
*c. Become a contributor on forums such as this one that are relevant to your blogs niche. Including your blog in your signature gets you more exposure every time you post, but make sure your posts contribute some value to keep you in good standing.
That's all there is to it, to getting started at least. Just keep posting, and the money will come! __________________ Find blogs to trade with at Blog TradeFinder
